COVID-19 FAQ

Our job is creating homes for people in unfamiliar places. It goes without saying that a large part of this is making sure you always feel at ease in a GoRoverGo apartment.

Sanitization and Cleanliness

All GoRoverGo units are completely sanitized prior to any resident moving in and after any resident moves out. Our procedures are in-line with both CDC recommendations and what our personal comfort level would be as people who also travel for work:

  • All high-touch areas such as countertops and appliances are cleaned with strong disinfectants such as bleach. All cleaning product used is EPA approved and specifically mentioned by the CDC in their Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection Recommendations.
  • Floors, bathrooms, closets, and all other spaces are also fully mopped, wiped down, and disinfected.
  • Electronics and television remotes are disinfected and wiped down.
  • Apartment keys, fobs, garage remotes, and other access devices are sanitized prior to resident move-in.
  • Dishware, glassware, cookware, and silverware are disinfected in high-temperature commercial washers prior to resident move-in. All linens are laundered in industrial washers prior to resident move-in.
  • During cleanings, our cleaners wear protective gear both for their safety and yours. This includes gloves and masks (always worn covering the mouth AND nose)
  • Windows are opened during cleaning to ensure proper ventilation.

Is GoRoverGo safer than a Hotel?

GoRoverGo apartments are rented for an average of three months at a time. This is a significantly lower turnover rate than hotels, which translates to a higher degree of safety for you.

How do I minimize risk in an apartment complex?

We recommend that GoRoverGo residents follow these guidelines:

  • Wear masks when moving through common areas such as hallways and elevators.
  • Wipe down gym equipment with disinfecting wipes before use.
  • Be extremely careful to observe social distancing if you decide to use amenities where alcohol use is common, such as pools.
  • Always wash your hands once you enter your apartment – you will regularly touch a lot of shared surfaces such as doors and elevator buttons anytime you come home

Can I have my apartment cleaned while I’m living there?

As of right now, we are allowing maid service on a case-by-case basis. Whether or not we allow it depends on local regulations, metropolitan infection rate, and other factors when relevant. This is to minimize exposure risk for both our team members and residents. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes.
